Check it out y’all!!!

Nothing says Sunday like…

OP4

…a lil gangsta rap. A dear friend recently asked me ‘who’s Wale?’ You mean Olubowale Victor Akintimehin? Washington, DC born? 27 years old? If you don’t know, now you know…

Miike Snow make merry

OP3

Miike Snow is a Swedish-American electro pop trio who (hello Daft Punk) remain faceless at all times. Their second album is a slushy, poppy, uplifting discovery and ‘The Wave’ (in my humble opinion) is a stand out track. ALSO the video is a sci-fi- movie/ summer merry go round of awesomess

Aaaaarrrrggghhh its the Horrors!!!!

OP2

Lame title huh? But luckily, new single ‘Changing The Rain’ from the album Skying is FRIGHTfully good, that should make up for it…

Jump and nod and sway and smile…

OP1

….how can you not when listening to Grimes? Grimes, known to her mum as Claire Boucher, is a Canadian born solo artist whose excellent single, Oblivion, sounds like Mariah Carey, Aphex Twin, Outkast and Marilyn Manson got stuck in an elevator together and emerged as a unit.

Because Time Out says so!!

Maybe it’s the hazy months at the beginning of the year when everything still seems so up in [...]

Life Size Maps hone in on Brooklyn

O3

This band played Death by Audio in Brooklyn list night, bringing with them two of my favourite things! A cello and a nod to the joys of cartography!

Dum de dum dum dum

O2

There’s a lot of music out there that sounds a bit like the Dum Dum Girls. Or do the Dum Dum Girls sound a lot like a little bit of everyone mixed together. Or (surprise option number 3) did I simply used to listen to a lot of 60s girl pop and now everything reminds [...]
